The Autism Society of Colorado welcomes inquiries regarding volunteering with us at any time. Due to Seasonal issues or different ongoing events and activities, we may not have an opening in all areas all the time. We appreciate your generous offer of helping to support us through time, knowledge, experience, resources and funding opportunities. Contact Tom Baroch, Events and Volunteer Manager, for more information. Visit the Volunteer page.
A Few Important Notes for Volunteers:
- If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please sign up for an Autism Answers session as noted below. These sessions help you with getting to know the work ASC does in the local and statewide communities we serve. If we cannot fit you into one of the many sessions we offer due to work conflicts and office hours, we will work with you on individual training on who we are, what we do and how you can help. If you are interested in discussing volunteer options even further, please look at the links below.
- All first time volunteers are asked to fill out a basic ASC volunteer application. We’re interested in knowing a little about you, your education and training and how you would like to help us.
- All volunteers must be at least 16 years old or volunteering with a responsible adult, unless otherwise approved by the Events and Volunteer Manager, Program Director or Executive Director. We welcome volunteer families!
- Due to the sensitive nature of issues we deal with, ASC expects its volunteers to be respectful of all of our staff, volunteers, people we serve and people we work and do business with. If you assist us with confidential information, we expect that you will keep it confidential and don’t discuss it outside our offices.
